Description of the event :
His Majesty Hj Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang-Di Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam officiated the launch of the 3rd International Halal Product Expo this morning at the International Convention Centre. Also present during the launch were the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Al-Muhtadee Billah, His Royal Highness Prince Malik and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bolkiah.
There are around 260 booths participating in this year's IHPE and 180 companies are represented from foreign countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and many more. The response has been overwhelming since the beginning of the IHPE in 2006 where there were only 31 companies that participated.
